ANZAC Day was on April 25th. What do you know about ANZAC Day? How did you and you family remember ANZAC Day this year? Do you think it is important to remember ANZAC Day?
This week for homework, instead of spelling and basic facts, I would like you to prepare a short, one minute talk about ANZAC Day.
You might like to choose one of the following to talk about:
• “What I Know about ANZAC Day”.
• “How my family remembered ANZAC Day this year”.
• “I think we should/should not keep remembering ANZAC Day because…”
• “We will remember them” is the main message for ANZAC Day. What does this mean?
• Or your own choice about ANZAC Day.
You can choose whether you want to have your talk to the class, or with the smaller ‘news group’. Book which day this week you are having your talk by using the booking sheet on the white board.
